Our esteemed 2014 Led&Lighting Fair participants, which continued throughout the 4 day fair brought together for new products and existing products to their visitors.
AĞUSTOS TECHNOLOGY TOOK IT’S PLACE AT THE LED&LED LIGHTING EXHIBITION IN THIS YEAR
Ağustos Technology which is Turkey representative for more than 7 brands participated at the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition for the first time in this year. COOLEDGE, LED ENGINE, COOLIANCE, SORAA and LUXEXCEL products were offered to admiration of visitors.
Ağustos Teknoloji Company Owner Emre Güneş pointed out each brand has different segments: “LED ENGINE is chip package manufacturer and COOLIANCE is a refrigerant brand.” Güneş continued that COOLEDGE brand LED Light Sheet which is a flexible and does not need refrigeration product and LUXEXCEL brand 3D printing service were promoted. Güneş added “The most popular product was SORAA brand magnetic lens system (SNAP) which can be applied to a 10 degree light.”
Güneş who made assessment about LED&LED Lighting Exhibition expressed satisfaction with the visitors. Güneş said that “I performed job interviews in the exhibition and had new contacts who it’s highly probable to carry on project in the short-term.”
Attending the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition for the fifth time, Assan Electronic exhibited mainly its new luminaries this year. General Manager of Assan Electronic Alex Seyis said that they pay attention to high quantity production, they’re growing with DMY Electronic group and today they have a closed production area of 18,000 square meters.
Speaking to us about the exhibition, Seyis said, “In the last five years, I always observe the same development. This exhibition is growing and developing every year. This year, there were very powerful companies and we’re happy that this exhibition hosts only LED-related companies.” He added that the exhibition will be more alive next year with a more powerful infrastructure.
Estimating that LED lighting technology will grow and develop in Turkey in the next five years, Seyis said “We, as ASSAN ELEKTRONIK, focus on projects where high numbers of products are used, including hotel lighting, street lighting, shopping mall lighting and wide area lighting. Thanks to our high production capacity and design capability, we have a powerful infrastructure.” Seyis also mentioned the importance of conscious users: “Choosing products depending on their price only leads to production of products of poor quality.” Underlining that recently designed wireless products ensure controlling light levels and efficient power consumption, Seyis highlighted that efficiency should be the priority and model products with the right design should be produced without causing any network pollution.
Dotlit Lighting Technology Co. Ltd. participated at the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition which was held for 10th time in this year. Dotlit joined with own production of products which are LED Down Lights, LED Panel Light and LED fixtures.
We asked opions about LED&LED Lighting Exhibition to Dotlit Lighting Sales Manager Alex Zhang. Zhang said that “The visitors follow up LED technology closely. I’m pleased with the visitors from overseas as well as domestic visitors and have detailed job interviews. Zhang expressed his hope that would catch the opportunity to work together with contacted people in the following days. Finally, Zhang emphasized his request that participating the exhibition which will be held next year.
Attending the 10th LED&LED Lighting Exhibition, exporter company Elit Electronic has domestic projects and expert in hotel lighting as well.
Speaking about the exhibition, Elit Electronic Projects Manager Volkan Giydiren said: “Compared to last year, there are more foreign visitors, especially from Qatar, Iraq, Iran and Syria”. Giydiren added that linear LED and newly produced lambader products took great interest at the exhibition and different products have always been a matter of interest for people.
Lastly, Giydiren underlined that their target markets are Germany, England, France and Italy and they have already developed projects with many businesses in these countries. In addtion, expressed that increasing export volume is a significant point for development and economy of Turkey.
El-Kom Electronic Ltd. Şti. which attended for 4th times at the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition this year exhibited its own production of LED drivers.
In interviewed with Elkom Electronic Ltd. Şti. Marketing Manager Hakan Çakır, expressed that Elkom Electronic is semi-manufactured manufacturer and usually work with lighting application firms and armature manufacturers. Çakır touched on working with appropriate standard products to LED configuration which is organized by customers as well as manufacturing special production in terms of requested configuration accordance with current value.
Indicating his opions about the exhibition, Çakır compared the number of exhibitors with last year and expressed increasing number of exhibitors in this year.
Entek LED Armature took place at the LED&LED Lighting Exihibition which held for 10th times and introduced new launched LED panel series. Entek LED has an integrated facility which brings together mold making, aluminum die casting, paint, external draw and LED driver assembly.
Taking opions of Entek LED Armature Chairman of the Board Enes Karakuş at the exhibition who said “It’s exciting to be a part of the pioneer in LED technology LED&LED Lighting Exhibition. The exhibition was more active and efficient than last year. We can keep in touch our target audience which are construction sector, contractors and architects at the exhibition. We are pleased to encounter with conscious customer profile who takes into consideration the difference of cost and prefers higher quality products. In addition, we follow work performed on energy in Turkey. The process is slow and it’s needed to be patient and must proceed step by step. If you leap quickly mostly will be faced with obstacles. Therefore, we are taking our place by growing slowly and consider this process as a healthy to be ready when the big steps begin.”
The fist time attendance to the 10th times held LED&LED Lighting Exhibition Esman Electronics supplies machines to LED manufacturing firms. Esman Electronics exhibited protective coating machine, TRI 7700S3 automatic optical control device and focal point of the exhibition YAMAHA LED typesetting machine.
Esman Electronics Marketing Manager Perinaz Anakan said “We’ve noticed that the sector is able to develope when it’s analyzed the LED firm sales.” Anakan expressed her opions about the exhibition that they were pleased with conscious and interested visitors about LED and met with new costumers as well as existing clients.
Attending the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition for the eighth time, PSL Elektronik operates mainly in commercial areas, shopping malls, professional buildings and hotel projects. During the fair, the company exhibited new products in DecoPendant series, an indoor decorative lighting product group, outdoor street luminaries, new products in Croma Street series, much demanded LED panels, Pixel LED, linear LED, Wall Washer products and LED screens capable of displaying video-graphic animations.
Speaking to us about the fair, Foreign Trade Manager of PSL Elektronik Tufan Gürbüz said, “We’re happy for being at a fair that is growing and developing with new exhibitors.” Stressing the need to develop and diversify product ranges, Gürbüz added, “Our designs are specific to us. Basically, we’re a company operating in electronics besides LED and thus we have expertise in actively controlling the LED and animated long-term products. At the Mall of İstanbul Project, we implemented the products specially designed by Jan Van Lierde’s JVL Studio.”
Underlining their power in Middle East, Russia and Turkic Republics and their recently opened offices in Moscow and Turkmenistan in the last two years, Gürbüz added that they have ongoing projects in England, Germany and France and they aim for the Far East and Europe.
Galaksi Lighting was participated to the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition firstly as a practitioners firm in 2012 and then manufacturer firm in 2013 and 2014.
Making assessments about the exhibition, Galaksi Lighting Company Owner Altan Demir said; “The visitors were not aware about LED at the first participation of the exhibition. They queried the products in 2013 and we are very pleased to meet with conscious customers in 2014. Many major firms which are participated to the exhibition as an exhibitor which makes feel us to be at the professional exhibition.” Demir added that “We exhibited many products at the exhibition and canopy luminaires and projector products were attracted considerable attention.
Koza Elektrik (Gold Master) attended the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition for the first time, and exhibited all industrial and household LED products.
Telling his opinions about the fair, Cem Özyağmurlu, Business Development Director of Gold Master, said; “This is the first time we are attending the fair, but I am coming here as a visitor for 8 years. We’re very pleased that exhibitors can also invite visitors. We’re proud that there are conscious visitors who suits well to our target audience. We believe that many firms not here today will attend next year and hope the 3rd Hall will be opened.”
Özyağmurlu also talked about the special products they exhibited at the fair, “We designed our round LED T5 fluorescent as square LED which is not available in many firms. Especially, we presented the E27 lamp socket ring fluorescent in its LED version and it is widely used in the Anatolia. We also brought our battery powered Mobiled that can use used in cases of emergency and carried in your pocket or bag. You can charge Mobiled from your computer, USB or lighter and it can light uninterrupted for 52 hours at the most reduced mode after charging for 4 hours with its small adapter.”
Han Elektronik attended the 10th LED&LED Lighting Exhibition and exhibited extra bulbs and street luminaries this year, besides all LED lighting ceiling products. Şükran Mert, General Sales Coordinator of Han Elektronik, said that in LED panel lighting 60-60 products of Spylighting were one of the most demanded products in this year’s fair, just like the last year.
Speaking about the fair, Mert said, “In addition to the expansion of area compared to last year, there is something good both for the industry and us that bigger brands attended the fair this year.” Underlining the price-centered approach of Turkish people towards the LED products, Mert stated that any LED lamp tolerates itself for 3 to 6 months and then offers serious saving.
Attending the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition, İlker Elektronik exhibited its ready-for-application products for the visitors at this year’s fair.
Speaking about the fair, Product Manager of İlker Elektronik, Engin Bilgili, stated that they are pleased with a more conscious visitor profile at this year’s fair. “We are the distributor of AEG in Turkey. We attended the fair with our home and office ready-for-application LED panels, LED fluorescents, and G10 spots”, he said. Bilgili also said that Modeyled and line LED product groups were their most demanded products.
Vatan Yatırım ve Dış Ticaret (Leday LED Lighting) attended the 10th LED&LED Lighting Exhibition with its indoor LED lighting products.
Expressing his opinions about the fair, Adem Çalık, Owner of Leday LED Lighting Firma, said that “Despite adverse weather conditions, this was a more active fair compared to last year. Besides the professional visitors, we’re pleased with the number and profile of exhibitors. There is serious increase in the products exhibited by the exhibitor firms”.
Stating that the firms have decided on which area of LED lighting they will focus, Çalık said, “Today, not all companies are trying to import or produce all products. It would be a huge mistake if a firm wants to be in the market with all products and this will probably end up in failure.” Çalık also highlighted that each form should operate in a single area of LED lighting in order to increase expertise and perform more productive works.
LEDYA Digital Signage attended the 10th LED&LED Lighting Exhibition and exhibited its products for the visitors.
Speaking about the fair, Marketing Director of LEDYA Digital Signage, Nihan Atakan, said, “We’re happy that the visitors were more conscious and aware. I think that this year’s exhibition ads generated good results in this respect. We’re pleased with foreign exhibitors and predict that more foreign exhibitors will be here next year.” Atakan also said that the 80-inch product, which they exhibited at the fair and is only available at LEDYA Digital Signage, can be converted into a touch-operated version depending on the customer’s demand. “The rest is about the demand, needs and imagination of the customer”, she said.
Attending the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition for the first time, Lotus Lighting exhibited their direct sales products such as panel LED luminaries and Wall Washer as well as their own products, including 60-60 patterned panel products.
Speaking about the fair, Dinçer Arduç, Electrical and Electronic Engineer of Lotus Lighting, said, “We’re happy with the number of exhibitors and visitors and their profile.” Arduş also said that they cut the patterned luminaries in their laser units and it is a very suitable product for decoration purposes and highly preferred by the customers.
Attending the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition for the third time, Odsel Elektronik San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (LUXAR) started the production of LED luminaries in order to meet the demand in the market. Calling the year 2014 as the year of innovations, General Manager of LUXAR, Baybars Çaycı, said that they’re planning to produce better and more special products related to merchandising in following periods.
Speaking about the fair, Çaycı said, “2 years ago, we found the fair very complicated. Lighting, LED and component firms with different concepts were in the same area. This was really a serious concern for us. But we liked the organization of fair this year. In particular, there is a separate section for lighting application firms and another section for materials, component suppliers, and lamp suppliers. Thanks to this right organization, it became easier for customers to find the right product and conscious customers were able to reach us. Finally, Çaycı said that they’re working in a healthy manner in indoor lighting and they presented the “Privacy Glass” and “OLED Luminaries” to the customers for the first time in Turkey.
Markaled Light Emitting Design, a leading expert in jewelry showcase lighting, was one of the exhibitors at the 10th LED&LED Lighting Exhibition.
Speaking about the fair, Ramazan Aşık from MarkaLED said, “The fair was more active and productive this year. We found the opportunity to reach many suppliers and end consumers”. He also said that they’re working with different sectors related to watches and silver showcase decoration and underlined that aluminum EPS25 products and 360 rotating luminaries took great attention at the fair. He also added that they’re the only company that sells rotating luminaries from turkey to Taiwan and Bangkok.
Attending the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition for the first time this year, Metsan Lighting is a company that focuses on indoor lightning in LED lighting technology. Export Manager of Metsan Lighting Pelin Kurtulan said, “The LED DownLight, 60-60 LED panels, linear indoor lighting products and diffuser products used in LED panels with a beautiful different design took great attention at the fair.”
Speaking to us about the fair, Kurtulan said, “Last year we were visitors here but this time we attended as an exhibitor, we’re happy about that. Compared to last year, this year’s fair was more active and productive and I hope more halls will be opened in following years. We would like to see other firms in the sector at the fair next year.” Kurtulan also added that they had good talks with the visitors, there’s fast growing LED technology in Turkey and in the world and Turkish companies should support each other for the development of country in this respect.
Attending the 10th LED&LED Lighting Exhibition this year, MLS Co., Ltd. (MLS Lighting) is one of the fast growing international firms. Ranked among the top 10 LED firms in 2013, MLS Lighting has a production capacity of 300,000 square meters and over 7,500 employees.
Speaking to us about the fair, Vice CEO of MLS Lighting Hank Hsieh said that they’re happy for being at the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition, which is organized in Turkey, one of their target markets. “We want to develop and grow by establishing partnerships with companies in Turkey”, said Hsieh. Hsieh also added that at the fair they exhibited widely used LED lamps, and retrofit products covering Down Light and Sitting Light, Ceiling ve Kitchen Light, T5 and T8 LED tubes. He also underlined that a lighting can be made up to 8 meters with about 20-meter long LED products designed for street lighting.
Lastly, Hsieh said that they’re focusing on wholesale and aim to establish partnerships in Turkey and its neighbors, East Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Russia.
Attending the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition again, Özdisan Electronic A.Ş., a group company of DMY Electronic Group, targets to convey its leader position in component sector to LED lighting sector. The company is Turkish supplier of Seoul Semiconductor – the world’s fourth biggest LED producer – which supporting its customers in areas of LED and components and LED modules, lenses LED drivers as well. Özdisan is capable of making very fast production for companies with no string line of their own.
Appealing to almost all customers through DC LED modules, FR4, CEM1, aluminum PCBs, drivers and new LED products of Seoul Semiconductor, Özdisan Electronics Inc. LED Technology Department Manager Öner Güneşdoğdu said that “DC LED modules, Seoul Acrich2 Series, 5630, 3030, 3020 and COB LEDs are mostly preferred in indoor applications, Z5 series in outdoor applications, and Z5M1 and Z5P1 white, daylight, and natural white LEDs in RGB applications.” Güneşdoğdu emphasized that “Especially ACRICHE family of products eliminate the use of an additional driver that they give design flexibility, ease of production and high-quality to customers. The products are among the most preferred light products by hotel lighting projects which must be completed within a limited time.”
Speaking about the exhibition, Güneşdoğdu said, “We had a great interest at the exhibition this year and it was a more active exhibition compared to last year. Özdisan plans to launch export LED modulles abroad and our first attempt is to participate Electronica Exhibition in Munih in November 2015.”
Attending the 10th LED&LED Lighting Exhibition this year, Sarnikon exhibited its 3-year guaranteed Osram LED modules as well as many other products for the visitors. Starting to supply glass lenses as well, Sarnikon presented its Osram approved Serneks driver.
Speaking to us about the fair, General Manager of Sarnikon Ali Sefer said, “Compared to last year, the fair is more developed this year. We’re happy that there is a more conscious visitor profile and more foreign exhibitors.” Sefer also added that they don’t sell finished products but focus on new products for street lighting and getting ready to release very cheap domestic spots in one month.
Attending the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition for the seventh time, TD Elektronik exhibited the products of NICHIA, UPRTEK, LEDLINK, and TEXRUN brands at the fair.
Speaking about the fair, Chairman of TD Elektronik Canberk Tonguç said, “This year the fair was expanded to 2 halls and this is a sign that more professional firms are investing in this fair and exhibition quality is increasing every year. And we’re happy with growing as the exhibition grows from the first day.”
Tonguç added, “As TD Elektronik, we have good command of LED technology thanks to NICHIA, a brand that produces its own chip and reactor of that chip, LEDLINK, an optics company offering right light direction for LED products, TEXRUN, a company providing the driver for LED products, and UPRTEK, a brand that measures the light quality.”
Tonguç also stated that light level and quality can be measured with an UPRTEK device in the design of lighting luminaries, and UPRTEK products took great interest at the fair.
Uplight Technology was at the LED&LED Lighting Exhibition in this year again which continues to integrated production operation for more than 10 years in LED chips packaging plant and LED lighting products assembling factory in Shenzhen city and Huizhou.
Uplight Technology Co. Ltd. Lighting Application Sec. Director Joseph Lin expressed his opions about the exhibition that the number of visitors were more than last year. Lin said that LED lighting products were exhibited and flood lights and color dimmable down lights were the most popular products at the exhibition.
Attending the 10th LED&LED Lighting Exhibition this year, Ümelsan is a company that offers service for all areas of site lighting, mainly the ports.
Speaking to us about the fair, Ümelsan’s representative Serkan Sobacı said that compared to last year the fair was more active this year. Sobacı added, “We attended the fair entirely with outdoor products, including projectors and street lighting products. Our BH500 coded 500W site projector with a small and light cooler took great interest.” Sobacı also stated that they will be at the fair next year with a 1000W projector and their aim is to show that LED products can be used at all stadia.
The main sponsor of 6. LED Conference and the participating company at the 10. LED & LED Lighting Exhibiton VESTEL showcased exterior facade and a landscape garden lighting products which are planned to launch at the end of 2014. In addition %100 domestic production new VESTEL LED Panel and LED tubs were exhibited. VESTEL aims to remove “high price” perception and increase the usage of LED lighting products in Turkey.
VESTEL Sales and Marketing Manager Tunç Göz expressed his opinons about the exhibiton: “The exhibition is more effective than last year every year. Our stand took high attraction since first day. As Vestel, we have attention in every year and proud of it. Our products are widely favored by customers as a company that produces in Turkey”. Göz expressed that “We have examining opportunity abput visitors’ needs throughprioritizing the products with its using areas.”
Göz; “As we took on big projects in İstoç and Manisa OSB Ephesus LED Street Fixtures and High Ceiling Fixtures which cover industrial sector needs have attracted great interest.
